That old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” will certainly be the case at Port Macquarie this weekend.
The town’s annual swap meet is expected to attract thousands of collectors eager to snap up a bargain.
Boasting items ranging from classic magazines and model cars to machinery and bric-a-brac, the Sunday event has grown to become the largest swap meet on the mid north coast.
It’s staged each year by the Hastings Auto Restorers Club to support the North Coast Cancer Institute.
