KNIGHTS SIGN FORMER BRONCO DANE GAGAI UNTIL 2014

The Knights have signed discarded Broncos utility Dane Gagai until the end of the 2014 season.
The 21-year-old, who can play in the centres, on the wing and at fullback, will take part in his first training session in Newcastle tomorrow.
Meanwhile current Broncos captain Sam Thaiday has gone into bat for his former coach, Wayne Bennett, ahead of the Knights’ clash with Brisbane on Sunday.
Bennett has copped criticism over Newcastle’s disappointing season.
“Wayne doesn’t really have too many tricks, but I’m sure he’ll have his team very well drilled, they’ll be ready to play.”
Jarrod Mullen is no certainty to make the trip north, after having scans on his injured eye socket this afternoon.
