Police are warning parents to be extra vigilant, after another Newcastle child came forward to say he’d been approached by a man offering lollies, in return for getting into a van.
The Merewether Primary student is the third boy approached this week near the school.
He’s told police that a man aged in his 20s with dark curly hair asked him to get into a white van on Monday morning.
Two other boys were approached that afternoon, as they made their way home along Glebe Road.
