It’s almost time to lace up those sneakers and pound the pavement for this year’s Darrel Chapman Fun Run.
The annual event is organised by Southern Cross University students to support local charity, Our Kids.
This year’s goal is to raise $10 000, to buy a new ECG machine for Lismore Base Hospital.
“Over the years we’ve bought over $950 000 worth of equipment for this hospital for the children’s ward, special care nursery for A and E and Radiology.”
The event will take off from Southern Cross University on May 20.
