Port Macquarie is in a commanding position to win a sixth consecutive Bodyboarding Teams Challenge title.
The Teams Challenge is part of Port Macquarie’s inaugural Festival of Bodyboarding which also features three world pro-tour events.
Port’s North Wall offered the best conditions for the final day of competition, as riders from 10 of the nation’s top bodyboarding clubs battled for the $5,000 first prize.
Heading into today’s heats, the Port Macquarie Aussies had a clear lead over Port Stephens and Cronulla.
But the results of today’s surfing will be kept under wraps until the overall winner is announced tomorrow night.
