A Barnsley man has been arrested for commercial drug supply in Edgeworth.
Police arrested the 29-year-old man while he was allegedly in the process of supplying a large amount of drugs.
Following the arrest officers executed search warrants on another property in Barnsley and one in Boolaroo, where they found prohibited substances.
The man was charged with two counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug as well as four other drug offences.
He was refused bail and will appear in Newcastle local court today.
