Richmond Valley Council’s Local Environment Plan has been approved by the state government.
Under the LEP, more than 130 sites and buildings including the Coraki War Memorial and Evans Head Scout Hall have been listed as having local heritage significance.
The area around Reardon’s Lane in Swan Bay will be zoned to allow for new rural residential land.
