There was a change at the helm of the Hunter Valley Training company today with long term chairman Milton Morris standing down.
The former New South Wales transport minister and member for Maitland, signed on more than 30 years ago with the aim of boosting trades training positions in the Hunter.
Since then 18,000 trainees have passed through the company.
Mr Morris will be replaced as chairman by Bob Cameron but will stay on as a director.
