SOUTHERLY CHANGE HAMPERS SEARCH

A southerly wind change on the New South Wales Central Coast is hampering the search for a teenage boy who was swept away in a rip at the Entrance Beach late yesterday.
The 15-year-old from Watanobbi was swimming with friends in rough conditions when he was dragged out to sea.
3 boys made it back to shore and raised the alarm with lifeguards and an air and sea search swung into action.
Helicopters and jet skis have been used in the search this morning but sea conditions are now described as dangerous with a fresh southerly change moving through a short time ago.
