Police divers have failed to find any trace of a 75-year-old man, who went missing after his yacht ran aground on the mid north coast late on Wednesday night.
The skipper’s 13-metre Woden V struck trouble and was forced to seek safe harbour in Port Macquarie.
He was last seen at around 3am on Thursday morning.
Divers today joined the SES, water police and marine rescue, scouring the Hastings River.
The search will resume tomorrow.
