A five-year-old boy is in Lismore Base Hospital recovering from chest and abdominal injuries
after a collision between a motor home and a car just south of Ballina.
The accident occurred at around 5 o’clock last night on the Pacific Highway – blocking both lanes for around an hour.
Six people were involved in the crash, but only two required hospitalisation.
