FIGHT FOR WATER STUDY CONTINUES

Gloucester residents say they’ve been snubbed by AGL, in their push for an independent water study on coal seam gas mining in the area.

AGL has announced it will hold an extraordinary meeting on the 12th of January, to appoint a peer reviewer to assess its existing groundwater study.

Residents who blockaded a local property say the company is disregarding its verbal commitment to have lengthy discussions with landholders.

They remain firm that a wholly independent water study is to be completed.
