A police chase that has ranged across the Hunter Valley for the last two hours has ended with the arrest of two people at Broke North of Cessnock.
The pursuit of an allegedly stolen Ford Falcon began on the F-3 Freeway, near Morisset, but then involved a BMW allegedly car-jacked near Beresfield.
Multiple police cars and the Polair helicopter tracked the BMW, through Maitland, Cessnock and Wollombi until road spikes could be deployed near the township of Broke.
Two people have been arrested and will be taken to Cessnock police station.
