A 25-year-old former jockey is recovering in Royal North Shore Hospital following a fall at Wyong Race Club this morning .
Desiree Tagg, who works for one of the stables, fell off a horse during track work at about 8.30am.
Witnesses say she was able to stand after the incident, but later on was unable to straighten her legs.
She was later airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.
