MONKS BLESS THE CRYSTAL CASTLE’S NEWEST ADDITION

It was all about love, light, harmony and happiness at Byron Bay’s Crystal Castle today to celebrate the opening of the first stage of its Tibetan Kalachakra Stupa.

The community was invited to contribute items which will be blessed and sealed into the base of the monument as part of the Tibetan tradition of healing the earth.

“It’s more than a structure, it’s about community spirit, it’s about coming together as a community and rallying each other for the common good, for the greater good which then is good for all of us.”

Gyuto monks chanted for three hours to bless the Stupa, which when completed will be the seventh of its kind in the world.
