Police have charged two people in Coffs Harbour, after allegedly recovering more than $20,000 worth of stolen items from a caravan overnight.
The 33-year-old female and 39-year-old male from Canberra, are accused of stealing 74 items including televisions, computers, toys and household appliances.
Police say they’ve been investigating the alleged thefts from retailers in Coffs Harbour and Grafton since October.
“Last night police executed a search warrant at Sapphire beach caravan park and as a result of the search warrant, located these items that we’ll allege has been stolen.”
They’re facing numerous charges including stealing and fraud.
