They may not get a call up for the next Australian Open, but the golfers who take to the fairways at Port Macquarie later this week will be just as determined as the professionals.
They’ll be competing in the eighth annual Westpac Rescue Helicopter Golf Challenge, which raises money to help keep the vital service in the air.
The four-person ambrose event tees off at the Emerald Downs course with a shotgun start at 12 noon on Thursday.
Entries are still being taken for teams eager to support the charity event.
