Almost 200 young athletes from around the state will compete in this weekend’s Tri New South Wales Junior Series at Forster.
The two day event will begin with a TRY-athlon for youngsters under 12 years old.
On Saturday afternoon the Pro-tour triathlon will get underway for budding pros aged between 16 and 23.
They’ll compete in a 750-metre swim, followed by a gruelling 20-k bike ride and five kilometre run.
The State Junior Aquathlon Championships will be held on Sunday, involving a run-swim-run course.
