Port Macquarie bodyboarders have again been making waves on the national stage.
Local club stalwart Jon Capilli has added another major win to last year’s Australasian dropknee pro title, taking out a national DK championship.
Capilli won the senior men’s division at the Australian titles in Gerringong on the south coast.
Follow Port bodyboarder, Jones Russell, took out the final round of the national pro tour which was run in tandem with the national titles.
The win secured Russell second spot in the series, behind Cronulla’s Andrew Lester.
Port Macquarie sent a contingent of more than 20 competitors to the events.
