Many sets of feet have been pounding the pavement at Port Macquarie today, to raise funds for research into motor neurone disease.
The degenerative condition affects the nerve cells which control muscle movement.
The inaugural Walk to d’feet Motor Neurone Disease was organised by local residents who are caring for family members with the condition.
