This year’s Rally Australia at Coffs Coast has been embraced by a record number of people.
A week after the curtain fell on the three-day rally, it’s been revealed more than 90,000 people attended the event.
It surpasses the official crowd numbers recorded at the WRC events in Western Australia and the Northern Rivers, by as much as 10,000.
Rally Australia is now working on its pitch, to bring the championship back to the Coffs Coast in 2013.
The FIA will announce its decision later this year.
