A female police officer, attached to a specialist unit within the Northern Region, has been charged with high-range drink driving and unlicensed driving.
The officer was stopped on the Pacific Highway at Telegraph Point, near Port Macquarie, on Friday night.
She allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of .207.
The 31-year-old driver had three children in the back seat at the time.
