YOUNG LIFE LOST IN LAKES WAY CRASH

A young woman has died following a car crash, north of Forster on the mid north coast.

She was driving south along the Lakes Way just before 2:30 this afternoon, when her car left the road, smashing through a fence and rolling several times.

“Unfortunately as a result of the accident, a woman who’s about 21 and lives locally, has passed away. We’re investigating the circumstances surrounding that.”

A man aged in his early 20s was also in the car, but escaped with minor injuries.
