Police are on the hunt for two men, after a man aged in his 30’s was assaulted in his Goonellabah home last night.
Officers say the Hayes Street resident found the men trying to rob his home just before midnight.
He was taken to Lismore Base Hospital with head injuries.
It’s believed one of his attackers was Aboriginal.
