Central Coast schoolgirl Ellie Drennan has won this year’s The Voice…becoming the youngest winner of the program, at 16-years-old.
In second place was busker Joe Moore, whose parents live in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Valentine.
“It’s very daunting going on to the voice stage, it’s much bigger than pitt street mall, so you’ve got all the lights, you’re behind the doors waiting for them to open, it’s impossible to avoid the nerves once the doors are open and you walk out, provided you don’t fall over, you’re sweet,” he said.
Joe plans to pursue a career in the industry and release an album in the next few months.
