Port Macquarie triathlete, Tim Berkel, is back in the international winner’s circle again, after taking out the Copenhagen Challenge.
The 27-year-old, seen here competing at home, finished the gruelling race in eight hours and 11 minutes.
It gives Berkel back-to-back wins in the race, which was only contested for the first time last year.
After adding the confidence-boosting win to his impressive record, Berkel now intends to focus on the shorter 70.3 races for at least the next year.
