The co-owner of the Wickham Park Hotel has turned its electronic advertising sign back on despite being ordered by Council to switch it off because it wasn’t approved and could distract drivers.
Scott Lawrence switched it off four weeks ago to build his case but says he’s now more sure than ever that he’s well within his rights.
“I’ve done a lot more homework and the sign completely complies with every rule and regulation I can find.”
Representatives from the RTA inspected the sign recently-a spokesperson says it’s working with the owners and council to relocate the sign.
