NRMA’s President, Wendy Machin finished off her tour of North Coast roads in Lismore today.
The hot topic of discussion was the effective use of the state’s speed cameras.
Ms Machin says she would like to see ineffective cameras replaced with more appropriate systems to ensure road safety.
“Camera’s should be there to improve safety and if they are not enhancing safety there it might mean we have to do something else on the road we might have to look at the signage or the alignment of the road or whatever is peculiar to the local conditions.”
