Architects have been appointed to design Newcastle’s new $94-million courthouse complex.
Cox Richardson has been awarded the tender for the nine-storey building, that will be situated on Burwood Street in the Civic precinct.
The development will house 10 courtrooms for the local, district and supreme courts.
Construction is due to start mid next year, and be completed in 2014.
