Advocates say the legalisation of hemp foods with low levels of the mind altering substance THC, has paved the way for a multi-million dollar industry boom.
Manufacturer, Bangalow-based ‘Hemp Foods Australia’ says the move will create jobs and foster sustainable farming.
The plant product is already sold legally in 21 developed countries – a market worth an estimated $1 billion dollars a year.
