A 30-year-old Coffs Harbour man in a critical condition Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital after he was bashed by two youths last night.
The man was awoken by the sound of breaking when the youth attempted to break into his car in Bray Street, Coffs Harbour.
When the man gave chase he was allegedly bashed with a piece of wood.
