FLOODS HIT MANNING VALLEY, ISOLATING LOW LYING AREAS

Heavy rain and strong winds have battered Port Macquarie and Taree overnight.

The Manning River is expected to peak at Taree later tonight, while Wingham and surrounding areas have been cut off.
