Merewether’s Ryan Callinan is now ranked fourth in the Australasian Pro Junior surfing series, after finishing third at the latest event in Western Australia.
Going into the contest as one of the top seeds, Callinan showcased his aerial skills in the small conditions to advance to the finals.
He was eventually knocked out by Byron Bay’s Garrett Parkes, who went on to finish second.
