KNIGHTS RECEIVE A BOOST WITH MULLEN INJURY NEWS

Knights halfback Jarrod Mullen could be back in action in less than two months after scans revealed his pectoral muscle is only partially torn.
A full tear would have ruled the former Blues halfback out for the season, but Newcastle is hopeful he’ll be back in 6 to 8 weeks.
Mullen travelled to Sydney this afternoon to see a specialist, to determine the full extent of the injury.
He’s the 7th NRL player to suffer a pectoral tear this season.
Team mate Cameron Ciraldo returned to first grade over the weekend after suffering the same injury against the Sea Eagles in round three.
