Casino Beef Week has been deemed a huge success, with more than 40,000 people flocking to the town for the 10-day festival.
Saturday’s parade, rodeo and Mr Beef contest were among the highlights of the 70-event program.
And organisers say its success will mean long-term benefits for the town.
“It’s great for both the community and business community of Casino, it generates over $1 million in income that we would not have if we didn’t have beef week”
Organisers are now looking ahead to next year’s 30th festival, which is expected to be even bigger.
