Newcastle shipbuilder Forgacs has emerged the big winner after major problems struck one of Australia’s biggest defence projects.
The $8-billion plan to build three navy air warfare defence destroyers is over budget, and overdue, so Forgacs has been called in to help get it back on schedule.
