Investigations are continuing into what appears to have been an accidental shooting at a party in the Hunter Valley town of Muswellbrook.
19-year-old James Jones was shot in the chest while attending a party on a neighbours property on Saturday night.
Relatives attending the party administered first aid and Newcastle’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called in but the popular local man died of his wounds.
