A teenage boy’s been charged with murdering his mother on the New South Wales far north coast.
The 48-year-old woman’s body was discovered at her home at Suffolk Park, near Byron Bay, on Wednesday.
Police arrested her 17-year-old son outside a Port Macquarie motel last night, and later charged him with three offences, including murder.
He’s been refused bail and will appear in Lismore Local Court next week.
