Lismore Turf Club’s popular university race day is under threat, with recent repair work rendering the track unusable.
Poor drainage meant the track fail to dry out, but work to fix the problem has proved unsatisfactory.
The board will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday with the contractors and Racing New South Wales representatives.
