Child immunisation rates on the Central Coast are amongst the highest in the country.
A report released by the National Health Performance Authority today showed 97.7 percent of one-year-old’s in Woy Woy and Pearl Beach were fully immunised in the period of 2014-15.
Infants in Budgewoi and Blue Haven were close behind, while other suburbs including Terrigal, North Avoca, The Entrance and Wyong all ranked highly, with immunisation rates above 93 percent.
A number of other Central Coast suburbs ranked above 90 percent include Ettalong Beach, Saratoga, Tuggerah, Wyee and Peats Ridge.
