The curse for Hunter competitors continues in the Surfest men’s event, with Merewether’s Jake Sylvester knocked out by less than a point this morning.
Ironically, Sylvester was beaten by Thomas Woods, the same surfer he overcame in the final of the Pro Junior last weekend.
