With the closure of Gosford Private Hospital’s maternity ward looming, the federal government has today pledged $10-million to help Gosford and Wyong Public Hospitals manage increased demand.
It’s expected to fund upgrades to maternity services, and workforce training.
Gosford Public Hospital will be the last remaining birthing facility on the Central Coast, when the private ward closes on March 31.
