KRIS LEES TRAINED UATE MAKES IT THREE FROM THREE

It’s not quite Black Caviar’s perfect 10, but the Kris Lees-trained Uate won its third straight race today, in a bizarre finish to the Skyline Stakes.
Most angles seemed to indicate Hot Snitzel was first past the post, and even the experts seemed surprised by the result.
“Now Uate’s won it. Uate has got the money on the outside.”
Even though it appeared to be a dead heat, Uate got home by the smallest of margins and paid $4.10 for the win.
