Hunter basketballer Suzy Batkovic is confident she’ll be ready for the WNBL grand final in two weeks, despite suffering an ankle injury in the Fire’s win over Dandenong in yesterday’s semi.
The reigning MVP will undergo intense physiotherapy, and stay off her feet for as long as possible, in an effort to be ready for the decider, which will be held in Townsville.
Fellow Hunter product Katie Ebzery could join her there, if she can help the Sydney Uni Flames beat Dandenong in this weekend’s preliminary final.
