ONE INMATE CAPTURED ANOTHER STILL ON THE RUN

Police have arrested a man who escaped from a correctional facility in Grafton while the search continues for another missing inmate.
About 1:30pm yesterday two men escaped from Grafton Correctional Facility on Hoof Street where they were seen running into bushland between the Clarence River and the Pacific Highway.
Police were notified about the escape and conducted land searches of the Grafton area with the assistance of Correctives Services officers.
About 3pm police were searching an area near Alipou Creek at South Grafton when they located one of the men hiding in bushes.
The 26-year-old man was arrested and taken to Grafton Police Station where he was charged with escape lawful custody and will appear in Grafton Local Court today.
Meanwhile the search to locate 29-year-old Luke Baillee continues.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 187cm tall with a thin build, about 70kg, brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing prison greens.
Police believe Luke may frequent the Gold Coast area of Queensland and anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him but to contact ‘Triple Zero’ immediately.
