Ship repair company Forgacs won’t comment on speculation it’s planning to sell its Carrington-based floating dock.

The company admits the repair market is quiet at the moment, with some major projects, including HMAS Success, going overseas.
Given that climate, it’s now sending all repair work to its larger Brisbane dock, and will reassess the situation if and when demand improves.
Meanwhile, there are positive signs for the proposed multi-billion dollar 4th coal terminal.
The state government has announced it will assess the project.
