Seven fire trucks rushed to a rural property just off Dunmore Road in Largs around midday, where a shed went up in flames.
Hay fuelled the blaze and made life difficult for more than 40 fire fighters.
The shed was destroyed, along with a caravan and tractor.
Investigators have been called in to work out the cause of the blaze.
