A 16-year-old boy remains in a serious condition in Westmead Children’s hospital following a motorcycle accident over the weekend.
The teenager was travelling along Sofia Jane Street at Chittaway Bay, when he collided with a car on Saturday afternoon.
The unlicensed rider was not wearing a helmet when he was thrown onto the road and sustained severe head injuries.
While police and paramedics treated the teen, the motorbike was stolen from the scene.
