A shopping centre was evacuated following a petrol leak at Budgewoi this morning.
The HAZMAT team and NSW Fire and Rescue were called to Scenic Drive just before nine o’clock.
There they found petrol from a nearby gas station had somehow leaked into the sewer system and storm drain.
Three people were treated for headaches and 12 shops at Budgewoi and an adjoining car park were all closed down.
