Police are appealing for information following an armed hold up in Coffs Harbour this morning.
Just before 10 o’clock two men armed with baseball bats robbed a security guard loading money into a vehicle at the McDonald’s restaurant on Park Beach Road.
The pair got away in a white VT Commodore sedan and police would like to speak with anyone who may have spotted the vehicle prior to the incident.
“The vehicle from what we’ve seen from CCTV had been in the car park for a fair amount of time prior to the incident, they may have driven from one parking spot to another prior to the incident so they could get away and also succeed in the armed hold-up. “(1.23)
Both men were wearing balaclavas and hooded jumpers.
